The quality characteristics of GL board determine its wide application in construction, automobile and other industries:

1) Construction industry: Used instead of hot galvanized sheet, such as roof, wall, waterproof sheet, etc

2) Automobile industry: it is used instead of aluminum plate and aluminum plate, such as bottom plate, moulded inner plate, oil filter pipe, exhaust system components and muffler system components, etc

Panzhihua Steel hot - plated aluminum - zinc alloy units and products

In order to meet the needs of domestic high-end building and home appliance industry users for hot-dip galvanizing and hot-dip aluminum-zinc alloy plating plates, Panzhihua Steel group invested RMB 600 million yuan to build the no.2 continuous hot-dip galvanizing unit (2#CGL), which was completed and put into operation in May 2004. 2#CGL unit adopts the world's first class equipment and technology, and has the following characteristics:

1) Set special degreasing cleaning section, using lye cleaning, brush roller cleaning and electrolytic degreasing and other multistage compound cleaning means, so that the coating adhesion and product surface quality has been greatly improved.

2) The use of French STEIN vertical annealing furnace, full radiation tube indirect heating, so not only can improve the coating adhesion and plate shape, but also can make the mechanical properties of the product more stable, according to the needs of users can provide super deep drawing to full hard grade different levels of strength of hot dip galvanized products. The outlet section of annealing furnace is equipped with a hot tensioning roller, which can control the tension between inside and behind the furnace, and is beneficial to improve the uniformity of coating thickness and surface quality of coating.

3) Double zinc pot system is adopted, one set of zinc pot produces hot aluminum-zinc alloy coating products, and the other set of zinc pot produces common hot pure zinc coating products. Compared with the iron zinc pot, the zinc pot is more beneficial to reduce the amount of zinc slag and improve the surface quality of the coating.

4) Adopt lead-free hot dip galvanizing and chromium-free passivation process, and the coating does not contain lead, chromium and other toxic substances, which is conducive to environmental protection.

5) DAK air knife made by IMSA in Mexico, with dynamic automatic control system, can ensure the uniformity of coating thickness and coating surface quality.

6) The French CLECIM four-roller machine and its six-roller stretching and bending straightener are adopted to ensure the shape and surface quality of the steel plate, and to improve the stamping forming performance of the product.

7) Adopt French STEIN vertical roller coating machine to apply thin organic coating to produce environment-friendly products such as fingerprint resistant and self-lubricating plate. Therefore, panzhihua No. 2 continuous hot dip galvanizing unit has laid a solid foundation for the production of high quality and environmental friendly hot dip aluminum-zinc alloy coating products (as shown in Table 2) with world-class equipment level.
